it does get better, dw. kamisama kiss is one of the shōjos I'd die defending til I'm old. it's just that, iirc, kamisama kiss tend to have many arcs with completely new characters? nvrthlss, it gets better. one of the best endings in shōjo fr
Thanks for answering! I do hope we stop having new characters at some point and things settle down. For now, I don’t feel like it’s getting anywhere, and I don’t have that much question either aside from what happened for Mikage to leave, who was Yukiji for Tomoe and honestly that’s all like for now there’s no stakes.

Guys I'm reading kamisama kiss because I've been trying to read my shojo classic lately and so far I like it but that's just that. I don't LOVE it I just like it because I love the FL so much but I don't really care for the other characters and I feel like something is always happening but the story itself is not really moving? Like sometimes I see that it's taking a direction but sometimes not. Idk.
Anyway does it get better? I'm at chapter 40 rn and I'm thinking about dropping. If I do, will I miss something ?
