This third person is butting in (loneliness, slightly toxic behavior), but on the other hand the main characters have a good and clear relationship: are level-headed and communicate healthily. We're up to ch 31 and this 3rd person is coming up with excuses to meet up, after the ml gave him the cold shoulder. Let's see what happens
