I think no one will, since everyone who knows Dane wants to see him drawn by this artist. And that meeting should come before what you wrote.

If you only look at it from the KMIYC perspective you could think so, but the stories of the author are intervined. You not have just two stories that take place around the same time, saw that newspaper article at the beginning? That's part of "Run away if you can", the pair of Nathaniel. And it fits the look the author envisioned for Chrissy, although there was no description of him except that he was very handsome. So the author probably made clear that it needs to be included.
The one Dane is part of takes place a few years later, but in KMIYC you see some of his character. And it would be very strange if it's not included. In addition, Dane is Josh's friend. You see them interact in 3 novels, and the part of Josh's character that better is unknown to Chase often comes up.lol And Dane was a fan favorite of KML, plus he is the pair of the author's crazy ultra dominant one -Grayson.

Josh is coming to get me lol when Josh does oh my God he goes off and beats up the guy that left marks on Chase And then I think a little after this somebody hits Josh ear and his patch falls up so the discovery of Josh being an Omega plot is coming up soon.
