I read the raws, and honestly, I’m just frustrated. The relationship between Joffrey and Edward when they were kids was so good — it had genuine warmth and potential. But once they became adults, everything just… fell flat. They barely interact anymore. The pacing feels all over the place — scenes jump around too quickly, and emotional moments don’t have time to breathe.
Joffrey is almost always with the red-haired knight. There's a scene where they hug. There's also a scene where they sleep next to each other in the same bed, and it honestly feels like the author is suddenly trying to make us ship them instead.
Meanwhile, Edward’s character suddenly feels like he’s turning into a villain — or at least that’s how it’s being portrayed. As a reader, I feel so distant from him now; he looks and acts like the antagonist, which is honestly frustrating.
The raws already have 53 chapters, but I stopped at chapter 50. I just couldn’t keep going. It’s disappointing seeing how promising it started only to go downhill like this. Still, a part of me hopes it’ll get better — because deep down, I really want to love this story again.
