fan translations (the good scanlators at least) are always better tbh officials always neuter good jokes
Yeah that’s probably l*zh*n for ya. They then to do this at times to make it simple which is so annoying
yeah it happens often with officials translations where they prefer to translate more literally than in a way that sounds and works better in that context
is it me or is the new version's localization confusing..? they removed all references to idols but kept in words like hoobae, so it's clearly not a culture thing... plus i feel like most the jokes don't hit as hard?? it feels dumbed down, idk. there's also things cut out that were some of my favorite jokes, but that's entirely personal preference :/ guess I'll stick to the other version for rereading i guess
