Hm? First of all, I wanna apologize for criticizing this manhwa. Honestly, I’m really happy that one of my favorite novels finally got a manhwa adaptation and with such a gorgeous art style too. But why does the plot in the manhwa feel so messy and a bit different from the novel? I’m really sorry, but the pacing feels all over the place, jumping from one scene to another without much flow. Even for someone like me, who’s reread the novel multiple times, it’s kinda confusing
And if I remember correctly, the magnolia tree scene wasn’t like that at all. In the novel, when the ML saw the MC smelling the magnolia flower, he immediately approached him angrily, and then the MC knelt before him to apologize because he thought he had offended him, not like in the manhwa where the ML just saw the MC under the magnolia tree and walked away
