Sigh, the moment he was brought in, I knew that he was going to mess it up. Not because of the slip, no that was just low hanging fruit for the readers who struggle to pick up on subtle cues. He WAS too calm. He focused so hard on not accidentally slipping any information that he forgot the most important facts: he's also obsessed with yeonjo and extremely jealous of heeryang.

Of course it was a giant waving flag to heeryang that this man, upon seeing him, didn't immediately try to kill him upon hearing of yeonjo's death. If anything, he should've shown up at the man's mansion demanding his head and yeonjo's body for burial.

And when he didn't, the only way he could've salvaged it, was by reacting in some way once face to face with the man who "stole" his man. But he didn't, smh. This is why you can't default to nonchalance, y'all gotta act "chalant" sometimes
