if we don’t take this too seriously it’s still pretty bad. idk how the author is gonna discuss and settle this issue, but i hope it doesn’t involve hyesung apologizing to his mom for anything.

by the looks of it, it looks like the mom might be back in the picture by the end and i honestly find that so sad. let’s normalize not giving bad characters any second chances despite having microscopic redeeming qualities.

Fr, she chose to leave Hyesung without closure, I mean who would feel okay? She left him to be with his abusive dad. And before angone come at me, even if she was a victim as well, she shouldn’t have abandoned Hyesung like that. If they made Hyesung forgive her I will actually go insane.

Hyesung, even if he didn’t wanted Byul, WAS literally 20!! Mind you, realistically, we don’t have mental maturity until we are 25! Hyesung is the victim of Dojin’s carelessness, his mother’s abandonment and his father’s abuse, and the author had the nerve to bring his mother back into the picture.

Imma kms if Hyesung forgives his mother

I agree, not every character deserves a redemption arc! I hope the author doesn't justify everything with an "he must forgive her bc she's his mom" nonsense
