It was explained in earlier chapters, I don’t really remember. But I think it was smth abt Gyeom getting MC to try all of these stuff together, and they just keep on doing it. Cause MC hopes that after graduating HS they will live together or smth. Cause Gyeom comes from some rich fam, so ig he’s just putting up with it to get away from his fcked up father and shitty life. We all know it’s gonna turn into messy fight later but well….

I'd add that it also helped Mc discover his sexuality and that he genuinely enjoys the sex (or does most of the time) instead of just putting up with it.
I think he does delude himself into liking Gyeom and thinking of them liking each other when it's just to satisfy their sexual urge and to keep a sense of closeness so they'll leave together.
And yeah I also don't see a good ending.
