again has a kinda similar concept to kill the lights in terms of the mc dying and resurrecting and being un unlikeable at the beginning, but damn again’s introduce is dark, genuine tw because oof even if mc was an unlikeable bratty bastard at the start

urusei yatsura.. a classic to this day iconic story about an alien princess and a sleezy womanizer dickhead that to his own credit has character growth throughout the series slowly and realizes he actually likes and cares for her even if he won’t physically admit or show it too much (if you read it, please do also check out the og 80’s anime and its respective movies, don’t bother with the modern reboot since it genuinely sucks and doesn’t have the magic and charm the og series did, and just feels half assed and wayy too colorful and hurt my eyes lmao)
