I for once cannot choose who to side with. Both seems right with their own opinions.

Like Luke for one, trusting his friend is not wrong bcs he's your friend trust is a very important aspect in friendship, and second everyone is not perfect. Everyone has greed, desires, and kindness. This friend of his decided on greed. Andrew feels as though he can't just throw away his friendship for sth like that. (He's such a people pleaser)

And Andrew, for one he is so right for wanting Luke to set his boundaries straight(people really test limits all the time), and for second not trusting just anyone(even his own father used him for political sympathy). Yes, friendships and relationships are important but not at the cost of own's life and sanity. Andrew just is not being able to comprehend how Luke is allowing this, and trying to protect a person(who is his lover) from the trauma.

Ahhhhh as a person who is a people pleaser I understand Luke for not wanting to break a friendship apart (instead sacrifice own self), but as a reader I totally understand Andrew.

Yes ik luke trust his friends ok but blond trust on anyone is harmful itself, which is exactly luke doing. If your partner is sus about someone you should at least be cautious of that person, seems like luke trust more his friends than his boyfriend.

To be honest, I'm siding with Andrew this time, you do have a point about Luke though, trust. But to me, not everyone can be trusted, even if they can, they do still have their greed like you said.

But Andrew, he's protecting Luke. I don't know where I'm going with this, but you know thkse couples that argue because one complains their being overprotective? This is the similar case, it's just called 'love' don't ya think?

    Ya see where I'm going?
