So I just finished reading this up to the latest chapter— which is 50, and my thoughts about the insomnia thing which is also kinda obvious and others might think the same too...
1. He developed a trauma which turned to insomnia. There was a panel where Chaejun is being hidden inside something with close area (like a compartment or a room) by someone, and I think that was Seunghyun. It wasn't clearly shown what was the situation but there's a line in Chapter 49 where he stated that him and the kid in his memory didn't end well so this shows something really happened.
If I'm gonna think about it, let's just say that was the start of WHY he's having insomnia and Seunghyun's the solution. Reasons?
-- Seunghyun was there. He was wearing his taekwondo uniform. I'm not really sure about the oil but maybe he put on the oil during that time, the reason why in the present, Chaejun reacted to both (Uni. and the oil)
