i don't think it's wrong of luke to still want to believe in his friend, bc no one better than bruno knows that he's messing up amazingly rn, and luke is giving him a chance to correct that. luke is NOT naive, he's trying to be understanding (in a potentially dangerous way.) though i can admit to thinking that luke is too nonchalant, but if a friend (mind you one that he's probably known for years before andrew) is struggling and they don't normally act like that...if your first thought is to cut them loose, were they really your friend?

bruno ISN'T being a good friend here, but that doesn't mean luke has to reciprocate those toxic feelings/actions.

andrew is 1000% right for being wary of bruno (or more importantly derrick), but he should've talked to luke first, and they TOGETHER could've kept better tabs on bruno and/or tried to talk to him. backing/threatening him (bruno) into a corner isn't going to resolve anything, and will definitely make it worse (in both the way it'll effect bruno's actions AND andrew and luke's relationship.)

at the end of the day, luke has to decide how many concessions he's willing to give bruno (who is probably going to give that memory card to derrick and betray luke / it'll end up in the wrong hands even if he doesn't anyways), but most problems can't just be solved by "walking away" from someone. (i'd wager it'd actually make it worse, seeing how paranoid bruno is--if he thinks everyone's already turned against him, then there's nothing stopping him from actually doing it.)

it's also likely bruno has back-ups of any pictures/"condemning evidence" that he's collected, so even if andrew/luke got a hold of the memory card, what good would that do?

so which is better: talking a problem out with your friend and potentially sparing you both the grief of falling out and the inevitable forgiveness posturing? or letting your friend stew in silence knowing that they have something suspect that could ruin not only your friendship, but possibly your career and making everything worse than it had to be, and more than likely end up at the same inevitable forgiveness posturing conclusion?

and if bruno still fucks them over...at the end of the day that's luke's cross to bear, but at least it was his own decision. fucked up, but valid imo.
