I can't explain it, but this sates something in me The storytelling is impeccable, the plot is not groundbreaking, there have been stories of isekai from the perspective of a villainess before But I've never seen one done so well like this I often see people complaining that the protagonist isn't really a villainess, she's just a good girl that was targeted and bullied And it's true, Lydia is the first true villainess I've seen getting isekaied and choosing a different path God I love so much how her character was built She's the type of character that people would comment death threats to, and SHE is the one who got a second chance How fucking balsy is this author? Lol And ironically, Lyrica would get so mad at all of you for hating on her mother mindlessly Sure, these are fictional characters and we don't owe them anything, but isn't it incredible how these characters are so full of life and so fleshed out that I can totally see Lyrica berating the haters and then quietly confiding in Atil or the Bharat boy how she can't and doesn't want to understand people hating on her mother? I bet one of the most emotional moments is definitely gonna be the moment Lyrica learns about her mother's resurrection Goddamn I can't stop being awed at Lydia's sheer existence So poetic that a person who learned that familial love only hurts, that you can't trust anybody in the world and that vulnerability is just weakness, could bring Lyrica to the world and be the focus of a love so great that she got a second chance at LIFE Ughhhh I love it It's such a bold narrative choice If I see the physical copies of this anywhere, I'm definitely buying them This story is too tragically poetic for me not to love it
