I agree. My ex-colleague and my housemate who has similar personality like Lily cares about me so much that when the news about my resignation got out, she fell sick for 2 weeks...to the point she has to be hospitalised. Could be from the shock. She told me she loves me and hope we will still be in contact even if we are not housemate anymore in the future. I even stay as housemate despite we are not working together anymore because she's there and I feel safe with her.
i understand lilian so much, i have a bff that i consider my soul's twin and my biological sister by heart too, we're so close that sometimes we get mistaken as a couple. i have several cases of this misunderstanding just bc im so close w my female friends. i know we don't feel that way with each other, can't people platonically love each other? i gag just imagining that my friend and i being a couple, but i love them so much i'd do more than keep their picture in a locket (if they're not in this world anymore) like? can people live and love, not just romantically?
people that makes this kind of misunderstanding needs to touch some grass, maybe? or maybe have sex, y'all could potentially be sexually frustrated.
