I definitely see this, I hope that this is a literal like turning point. I feel like there will be a little more back and fourth between the two, Yunoh may try and move out after this talk, but I hope that after this they either have an argument that changes things for good so we can come back to like actually building something for the two. I want to see Haewon happy.. of course Yunoh too, but this chap really put it into perspective for me
Haewon, by himself, is pretty interesting like his logic and the way he approaches things. His temper , obsessive tendencies, abandonment issues and all the trauma behind it is very compelling. Like holding on to someone without loving them yet forcing yourself to try just to not be alone is pretty human and realistic.
I think the problem with this manhwa for me is really just that I just can’t get into Yunoh. He’s fine as is, I love crybaby semes but he really hit the ceiling of what I’ll consider as whiny, you know. I get that he’s young and immature and he got hurt a lot seeing Haewon with so many other people througout the years that he probably grew up but there’s a certain lack of conviction there that’s just tiring to read about. “Woe is me. Hyung doesn’t love me. Hyung is forcing himself so I won’t leave but doesn’t see me as a romantic partner.” Yeah those are all pretty valid reasons to be insecure but what has he done to change any of that? NOTHING. Yunoh is the one that lost his mind whenever Haewon tried to sleep with someone else. Yunoh is the one who forced himself on him when he was in a rut. And yet when Haewon gives him a chance, he cries about it cause he can’t feel Haewon’s sincerity? Then he should’ve let Haewon date other people if he was gonna be like this! Or better yet he should have just left for a while until he was over his feelings. He was way too selfish and still is. EITHER LIVE YOUR WHOLE LIFE IN A ONE SIDED LOVE OR DO SOMETHING WHEN HAEWON GIVES YOU A CHANCE. CHANGE HIS FREAKING MIND. BE A GOOD LOVER. MAKE HIM SEE YOU AS A MAN.
