I really appreciate how realistic this yaoi is with dealing with rape victims. a lot of yaois will include rape and both characters will just move on. But I appreciate how this yaoi actually shows what it’s like to have flashbacks and to not be able to get over something; because rape isn’t that simple, rape isn’t a “mistake” that both parties get over, it’s a life altering act that nobody should ever have to go through, and so I really appreciate how the author has written sejin to have flashbacks, and how he is confronting Ido and actually using the word rape when a lot of authors won’t even touch that word. I wish he didn’t have to go through it at all and it’s so painful to read but I’m very glad rape victims are getting proper representation instead of rape just being used as a plot point and attention grabber and nothing more.
