I know but most of the nasty stuff here is very much reachable once you get in the site. Plus a kid probably wont know what they are getting into and they will be curious. They probably dont come to this site expecting to read inappropriate stuff, but they are still exposed to it. And dont even get me started on the creeps here.
It's the same with habbo, stardoll or any other social/entertainment spaces on the internet we grew up with. I'm giving habbo and stardoll as an example bc i kinda grew up on them and there were good people over there too just like there are good genres and good people here, but some people be weird, and some books be inappropriate so it wouldn't be too crazy to think kids need parental control over what they consume on the internet. And i say this because, i, too, was a kid with an unrestricted internet access. And i feel bad for all kids who grew up like me, kids who were exposed to the nastiest stuff at a very young age
