There is missing context to why she said that in the past life. I don’t want to spoil you without your consent so I will just say that Carcel did something, without her permission, that upset her immensely. Before Carcel did it, her father was going to do it but Carcel told her father he will take the sin/blame upon himself.

It might displease others but I think she was hypocrite to get angry at him when in her past life she told him she didn’t want him nor a child with him so she could think of it and be more kind to someone she has tortured…voila
