If I remember correctly.. someone correct me tho… The city they were in got destroyed was bc the government not giving them back ups n even overlooked their situation aside from rouge(???) civilians or was it rebels that first started the mess… which made their unit to deal with it n due to it being common??? They didnt get backup hence K n Jerome were left… hence y they were left to die also Jerome’s power is basically poison n due to the blood pact K is technically immune to his power… I think there’s more to their history together n y K is heavily traumatised I think we will see it in future chapters… as for Jerome being a strong esper… yes he is a strong esper since his power is poison (idk or remember if its explicitly mentioned)…. The issue with Jerome’s power is that he never got to practice how to properly use his power… if I remember correctly he is in fact afraid of his own power due to being ostracised… I forgot if its bc of his power or how bad his environment is growing up since if u remember its mentioned or hinted they he didnt want to be in the unit K was in… K at least choose to be there… Soo Jerome not practicing his power and not fully understanding it… it made sense he dies or at least earlier they said Jerome is dead but we saw in K’s flashback Jerome is in a room n Jerome is on life support…. For Jerome’s condition we arent fully sure if he’s in a coma n is stable… but it seems we can say or at least theorised that Jerome might be at least alive since K still has Jerome’s power from the blood pact…. Again someone correct me if I’m wrong…Also wrote this while I lack sleep so I hope what I wrote is understandable;-;
