It’s sorta funny that people didn’t clock that the side story is an AT. ATs are Alternate Timelines where the settings is the same but the order of events of the original story change. In this AT, Seonu never had a successful IVF treatment and his grandma, the sole reason why he signed up to do a surrogacy to get money to take care of her, dies unexpectedly so it’s eliminates his intial motivation in the Original Timeline.
I actually like this AT because it’s sweeter and it eliminates the obstacle of the escort arrangement they had and show that they would had fallen in love quicker (not that I don’t enjoy the Original Timeline but I like the vibe switch-up).
