And from what I read it wasn’t that she was a half sibling to her children, it was how her husband treated her, if he could abuse her what’s stopping him from harming her kids (and really even poisoning his kids against the FL can count as abuse too) makes me wonder how sad the mom would be her boys became just like their father and brings us back to why she wanted to leave in the first place
It’s super rare to see the FL just walk away, I’ve read Harliquin stories and the Guy Always get the girl in the end even when the FL ahas a very good reason to walk away. Like seriously if a guy gets told one lie then based on that lie treats FL like trash and then force FL back with blackmail or no other choice who’s to say they won’t do it again. It’s frustrating.
