Thoughts on the plot:

Definitely one of those BL's you need to get your brain running while reading, from what I understand both MC and ML are morally gray characters due to them being raised in a fucked up childhood and believing that they only need each other to live and only they need to be happy.

The black room and mirrors are a vessel for their malice, ML from childhood deep down wants to hurt his parents as MC made him realize that his parents are as fragile and human as him but him being a kid not realizing he has these malicious thoughts thus he accepts his malice killing for him.

MC's adulthood however also has malice in his heart as he swallows his pride and always wanting to please other people also doesn't realize he's instead bringing out his malicious thoughts on himself as a form of self harm (choking) so he doesn't bring it out and push down the thoughts from listening to the "truth" (the mirrors).

The 'malice' entities are the representation of the malicious thoughts of human beings, the very deep, dark and dangerous thoughts. Believing that why should we (the MC and ML) have to suffer just by living and being together while other people live happily and taking on the conclusion of people are only happy when they steal the happiness of others, the hands literally tearing other people's happiness (bodies) apart to give the MC and ML the freedom to be together without the pressures of family, disapproving friends and anyone who comes between them.

It will feel a bit off cuz the topic is super heavy while having funny and cute scenes however the plot is so unique I can't even be mad at it, it will also feel rushed if you rush through it without digesting the plot and think about it carefully.
