There aren’t many updates for shoujo, fantasy-romance, action, adventure, or shounen ai lately. No one’s translating anymore, haha. It’s so sad, I haven’t read anything new in months! :-!
I AM complaining. I miss manga. Manga is peak esp the 5-6 ch ones I deadass don’t even read my updates anymore unless they’re manga
As far as i know, japan has become more strict with their copyright policies and became more active in preventing piracy of their works. While doujinshis are very niche and far too many inbetween to translate all.
Alao becuase manhwa and manhuas has been picking up popularity. So a lot of companies are mass producing content after pandemic. So it became so saturated here with those

It probably is lack of translators. I was on a searching spree for djs for a specific series and saw how many were still in Japanese. We need a new wave of translators to keep the mangas flowing here ╥﹏╥
Is the manga era over now? Damn, a couple years ago you'd see 60% of the updates were manga but now they're all just manhwa or manhua. Don't mind me I'm not complaining, I just miss those times
