What would really level this story up is if the author had a focus on a theme other than love. Like the theme of resillience or the theme of power corrupting, or themes of morality and how they form people/what forms people's moralities. The manhwa just goes from point A to B with a couple bumps on the road. The moral of the story is "love prevails and saves the day" which is FINE, but its BASIC and doesn't make you think. Unfortunately I think this is like a 3/5 for me because of that.
The art is good, and the uploaded official translations are fine, so its not irritating to read at all. Makes for a good end of day read.
Another tiny complaint not just for this manhwa but most isekai manhwas: make the art more visually interesting! The art style is great but I wish the artists would explore the amount of space they have and the fact that its a digital scrolling form. You can do SO MUCH with the space given. Be creative! Idk. One of my favorite webcomics is Your Letter published on Webtoons. It's the authors debut webcomic and oh my god it is so well done! The story is sweet and the quality of the paneling + art is chef's kiss. I need to see more of that kind of art.
It's nothing unique but it's not terrible (high praise bc of how many terrible quality plotlines isekai manhwas have). You can easily predict the beginning, middle, and end which doesnt make it bad at all. It has a solid story structure and its easy to digest. Has a happily ever after with all the bells and whistles.
The main characters are easy to like and dont have any fatal flaws. The characters and the plot are so mid that it's hard to hate. A lot of isekai stories fail because the author tries to make the main characters seem better by dumbing everyone down or just have the main characters take less evil actions (but still evil actions at the end of the day). This manhwa has kindof a brainless plot but doesnt fall to that mistake (at least not egregiously).
If you want an easy feelgood fantasy isekai to read on your commute or at the end of the day, this is not a bad manhwa to read at all. It's not spectacular, but I wouldn't tell someone to avoid this story. The sad thing is that this manhwa is just so lackluster, but because there are SO MANY TERRIBLE quality manhwas, this one stands out for being pretty basic.
