is this worth reading?

I really like the premise, it’s somewhat different from what I usually read. However, I don’t know if I accidentally skipped some part or if I’m an idiot, but from the beginning why does the prince suspect radan to be the assassin? Is it just bc of the blood and he’s a “prostitute”? Is that it? it doesn’t make any sense why would the prince keep a frail man next to him, convincing everyone he’s the assassin. The author should’ve put more doubt or made Radan slip more. Or at least assume your genre and have the prince obsessed with his uke and kidnap him. It’s kinda ruining it for me, bc if I was employed by the prince, all I would think “why the fuck this tiny thing is suspected of being the assassin? There’s almost no need! Our boss is clearly thinking with his dick”.
