apart from any other red flags about the novel and toxic relationship between ml and fl, i simply can't even enjoy the psychopathic portrayal of ml. he is so robotic, his facial expression always the same. everybody in story keeps mentioning how charismatic his "cold" persona is but i just can't see it. He us boring, in front of others and behind closed walls sizzling fir fl. It is like a model cut out of a magazine walking around like a cardboard. He just looks the same in every panel with just different clothes and different hands in pocket. I love vanji, but she can just do so much with a very badly written character...
