The author lowkey undermined and used Hyesung’s trauma for the sake of Byul getting that awkward ahh kiss bruh
The author just wants everyone to forget about Hyesung’s trauma bc she wants him to make up with his mom in the end. They can’t do that if we’re constantly reminded of how shit of a person she is. That’s why they keep downplaying it now and treating it like no big deal. They act as if Hyesung is just being unreasonably stubborn & that he will eventually get over it. They’re just hoping we forget how traumatic his past was so that we all fawn over how cute their reunion is when they eventually make up.
Fargo wants a sweet and wholesome story for Byul so she wants everyone to be happy but it misses the mark with Hyesung

They literally just make up and go hehe understandable you went behind my back bc she looks like me and yall love me soooo much....like what?? Dumb ahh reason. Nahh where was the traumatized hyesung from chapter 100 of LIAI where he couldnt even get out of bed? They didnt even really properly talk about why hyesung left byul or what he had to go thru bc the mom left him. If the author was just gonna move past this quickly to focus on the kiss they shouldnt have brought it up in the first place it wouldve been better if it stayed how it ended in liai
