Girl, I understand your point but not everyone like those fking pretentious suits when they never usually wear them and don't forget one thing that they do not give a fuck from the start even when they were not as rich and powerful as they are now. Now that they hold even more wealth and power, wouldn't it be even more igaf about yall's opinions. Those that hold money and power can make pj into a formal wear if they want too. Who is there to stop them?
Yeah ai totally get that... and I didn't mean that as me wanting him to wear a suit. I meant that he wearing that exactly same outfit with that kind of shoes regardless to where they are going doesn't make him seem like he's chill and dgaf... but that he it tactless instead... like... you don't wear bikini to a religious place, a white dress to a wedding (the western traditionel one), a formal dress/suit to the gym or tank top shorts and flip-flop to a business meeting... that's not about giving a fck or not... it's about common sense and respect towards the others and the ocasion. I wouldn't mind he wearing casual clothes to most events... but they exagerate and focus so much on him being like that that it's lost it's comic edge and became just... annoying... yeah someone in power can do/wear whatever they want... but they rarely do so... just like mc that started to wear suits all the time instead of his earlier casual clothes. Its ok to make a character have it's quirks... but when you overdo it they just become less likeable... it's like that saying... too much medicine becomes poison...
That's why it started to annoy me... throughout the story he went from chill and nice to have around to exageratedly otaku to exageratedly underdressed... I just think... author is doing him dirty and making he seem even more senseless compared with mc... I'm starting to feel bad for him...
I get you being the comic reliefe and liking comfortable clothing but... homewear is called homewear for a reason... seeing him dressed like that and wearing socks+slippers to even formal places while mc is wearing a fckn suit is... cringe not funny... I can get over him being cringe paying tribute to onepiece and all... even his anime car... even tho it's cringe... but tht clothing and shoes? That's a nope...
