I think for him as much as possible he doesn't want to kill. And it's not about conscience it's more so to avoid increasing the death counts surrounding him and to avoid suspicion. Well, that and solely he enjoys it like a predator playing with his prey. If there's no more moves that can be taken only then will he use his own hands to kill the person
I actually thought he was gonna kill the brother and then that bastard cousin. I was like daaaaamn double homicide, but nope. Regardless it did not disappoint.
