Cara’s not Barras??? Idek anymore. But it seems not all chapters from ch 61 to 68 is old English thankfully. I’m going to find a diff website to read the ch with old English

I loveeeee ahhhhh they’re so funny and cute. But I hate the switch in speech tone from ch. 61 what in the old English is this PLSSSS JS GIVE ME BACK THE NORMAL CONVERSATIONS INSTEAD OF THE ILD ENGLISHHHH UGHHHH I HATE ITTTT I FEEL LIKE IM IN ENGLISH CLASS READING SHAKESPEARE
Plus I’d rather not have to use my brain trying to understand what they mean when they speak and FL would def not be able to speak old English at least not that good because she’s Korean first of all (but magic she can speak the language) and secondly, old English isn’t used in the 21st century anymore, a few people do use it tho. But if she can then it’s def the transmission/reincarnation magic.
I had to stop at ch.61. I’m dying, I wanna read the rest but not with this old English ahhh convo. Sobsobsob also either FL is Selene (idk how her name is spelled) and she was reborn in the modern world and the fake took over her body, which in turn is the novel the FL read in the modern world and that’s why the ML is cold to her because she’s not the real Selene that was meant to be with the ML, or the FL is Selene and her body got taken over so her soul got pushed out and went to find a host and ended up in another world aka the modern world where she read about “her” life without realizing but it’s not her in the body but the fake- and then she finally came back to her own body- but she doesn’t know that and the time is also before she got pushed out- or smth- man idk but I’m low invested.
Also either the fake is into the guy that likes her or the glasses guy. Cuz she said smth like she is giving up on him since he keeps seeing her as only a sister and the glasses guy says he sees her as a sister sort of. So either she thinks the long hair guy sees her as a sister only instead is actually loving her back- or she’s referring to the glasses guy- idk but they should patch their own misunderstandings and stop coming for a man that’s not hers- tsktsktsk. Also the fake seems to know the novel world- like she lived in it (that’s why I thought what I thought above) and she wants to be with Barras (ML) like she did before but doesn’t want to relive the traumatic night??? Or she js wants the real Selene to do the deed so that the curse would be broken and they wouldn’t know the soul got swapped or the people got swapped if they did sleep together after the real Selene and ML sleep together- uhhhhh man I need more. Pls bring back the old modern way of speaking… none of this… old English or whatever it’s called
