uh well, trust me, people are also weirded out with both gender. Butttt, if it's a popular age gap manhwa the hate will be hidden because people will defend them by "No! He waited for her to reach adulthood before falling in love!" and that gave me the ick, like that one manhwa where the male lead marry a child when he's actually 14 or like 17 idk while the female lead is like 7 or 10 iirc
No offense but some of u have such insane double standards lol im 100% sure you wouldn’t say “it’s just fiction” if a male main character said “I can’t wait for u to grow” about a girl who looks like identical to a child
