I am so glad the author didn't romanticise the abuse and make them both happy with each other by the end *cough* like every fucking popular bl ever *cough*. Their goal from the start was to portray the ml as an unlikeable trash and they did well, didn't try to make him come off as good or try to sugar coat his wrong doings. Its just so fucking annoying when authors take the route of "hey he r@ped the mc at the start but let's forget about it now since he's good to mc now" like ugh be so fr. It was a good story, the plot isn't exactly new but the whole thing about the characters beliefs made it pretty good for a short story.
