It was probably when Yuta was still a sex worker for the yakuza. If I understand correctly, when ‘employed’ as a sex worker, Yuta met Seunghyun (the sex bath scene), Seunghyun left his number telling him to call. The time skip while in the brothel is him being brutally bound (red rope scene) and raped by his client i.e. the son of the man he ends up marrying to leave the brothel (the guy who showed up at the hospital calling him mom). He is tormented and in a panic seeks help by calling the only number he knows, Seunghyun’s. He hangs up after Seunghyun picks up because he probably doesn’t know what to say. Him saying “Dummy” probably refers to himself or both of them. He’s dumb for thinking he can get emancipated from the brothel through Seunghyun and he probably thinks Seunghun is dumb for leaving his number with him because what’s the point of that.
Either the next day or a few days later, Seunghyun shows up at the brothel and Yuta is confused why he is there and chapter 17 is where Seunghyun informs him that it’s because he called.
The present timeline is him and Seunghyun having sex infront of the elders. Everything else is a flashback of him still being a sex worker.
