most prolly, the cleaning from the translation team uses AI to remove watermarks and stuff. But for the background, the artist actually uses 3D backgrounds assets that even a lot of manhwa artist utilize.

uh...... why is there so much AI stuff...? all the backgrounds are AI generated and even the chibi characters on them look weird too...
