i really like how they made up how even in the short chapter.
Alyosha said everything he wanted to say—he was harsh and unmoving, firm in who he is, even though it would be difficult. And through all of that, Alyosha acted like such an alpha. I really liked that! I also appreciated how strict he was when expressing himself, making Lerusha realize what he had left behind and, in a way, asking him, “Are you really sure you want this? Me? You got what you wanted.” And how Lerusha made him see where he began to grow confused, but in the end, everything he did was truly for Alyosha, despite the ways he went astray. I really enjoyed it, and even though the resolution was there, I wish we could get one more chapter showing them living together and facing new struggles—like whether he might turn back into an omega now that they’re bonded, which is likely. I don’t want to say it was rushed, but I think I felt rushed simply because I wanted more. While the conversation where they made up wasn’t bad, there could have been more explanation from Lerusha’s side, but it was still great because Alyosha shows how much older he is and how alpha he becomes in moments like this. He really takes the reins in decisions and conclusions sometimes. Anyway, I really loved this—so well done, so deep, and the translations were perfect!
And like I mentioned, regarding the art—I personally loved it. It was so crisp, and the emotion was definitely there. I read a review saying it didn’t have enough emotion, and I was honestly surprised, because this showed exactly that. You can feel the pain and desperation. Maybe they were talking about the last chapter, but even then, the emotion still comes through. Also, Alyosha is very good at not showing his emotions, because one wrong expression would let Igor know he had something he cared about—and that would mean it could be taken away. I think people forget that. Anyway, I truly love the art. I feel like it’s what made a lot of people stay, and the story was a bonus!
