There's a manga where the main character's father is really gorgeous if he removes his glasses and that happens one day when the boyfriend comes to visit but I can't remember which manga, I though maybe Hidoku Shinaide (but if I remember correctly Nemu's father isn't alive or around) but it may even be a straight manga
