I read this story expecting a happy ending but it was just rape porn. While the Mc and the Ml were cute at first, the story is not worth it in my opinion.
The ML is not a green flag throughout the whole story and I think that’s really something more people need to talk about. He had another character gang raped in revenge which is an inexcusable thing to do. That man was horrible but having someone raped is irredeemable in my opinion. The way the Mc ended up accepting that too doesn’t make sense given how initially traumatized he was by hearing his lover do to someone what others had done to him.
The ending is not a good ending and is incredibly unfulfilling. Mc deserved better and a relationship with someone that didn’t continue abusing other people.
Lastly, no rape scene should be as explicit as all of the ones done here. You can show hard topics, I’m not opposed to dealing with heavy things, but explicitly drawing it is just fetishizing it. You can use implication.
This can be an extremely triggering story for anyone but if you have been SAed and have trauma, I would skip this story all together. It isn’t worth it.
