Mostly likely a purified water - rosemary mix! Think in Christianity the rosemary wards off demons ? But my mom would give me rosemary blessings after my showers and i smelled of rosemary for a couple days
Since the guy said he got an expensive suit, its probably made of a finer wool, which *shouldn't* retain odors, except if its been saturated, which it was bc it was raining that day
Combo with rosemary water and it maybe probably penetrated the lining (and if its a silk or cotton lining, the odors are probably set in atp), you got urself a stinky suit!!
