novel [kinda a wall sorry]

welp I got super curious and went ahead and read the novel. In the novel they are actually real brothers and the mc is just 19, so technically a minor in south korea, they have a 2 year gap but it still very much yikes. Here they changed into the old sibling being adopted and the younger missing a year of school so hes 20 "of age" but still goes to high school. I stayed up reading until 6am when I had to wake up to go to work at 7am and fuck, it's pretty damn interesting I can see why it got adapted and changed the most disgusting things...

Honestly im not even a fan of the adopted/stepsiblings/any parental figurexsomeone who needs parental figure tags, but it's a trope as old as the world and i guess i can see the appeal and it definitely eases up the "forbidden family member" thing since they're not technically related by blood, i wont judge people for reading those, i myself have read, am reading and will read worse...
I'm old enough to have grown up with the damn wincest and had an unrestricted amd unfiltered japanese yaoi dj phase in 2010 so while it felt icky i could continue reading the novel and its annoyingly interesting. 100% they made right choice changing that blood related/minor shit. I haven't finished it yet, I'm wasting my precious lunch break reading that damn novel because i cant put it down. I don't ship them AT ALL, they both NEED to find someone else and it makes me sick and so damn anxious but there's just something that keeps pushing me to finish it. It's like a trainwreck reading the smut feels incredibly dirty so i kinda speedread those..

If you can stomach it, are able to forger the younger brother is 19 for a good part of the story and have experience reading that kind of tag I would actually recommend it to try and read it. If not just continue with the webtoon, although maybe it's the mtl but it has a weird pace... There will thousands of trigger warnings though other than the obvious INCEST, from self harm to coercion, threats, gaslighting, non con, dub con, suicide attemps, obsession, psychological abuse, and i havent even finished the novel. They are honestly so toxic for each other, if the older brother is a red flag, the younger brother is just right behind the novel even makes you feel bad for those sick freaks

I only checked the novel to see if the brother slept with his classmate. I didn't know it has a lot of TW. I'm glad the manhwa changed them to being step-brothers instead.
