That's not how it works.... He has no education, no job experience, no family or friends, and no place of his own. His entire life has revolved around loan sharking. If he were to confront his boss, he'd risk ending up on the streets, plus he also carries the trauma of being abandoned as a newborn. Given his current condition, he definitely doesn't want to face any of that, especially not now.
His relationship with Hajoon and Monggoo is undeniably complicated, he probably wouldn't consider relying on them fully for support as he waveringly tries to regain his footing in society, especially given the turbulent past between them and the harm he has inflicted both of them.
As for his relationship with ML, it is even more strained at the moment, especially after Jooeon told him they would sever ties once he's fully healed, so asking him for help would therefore be out of the question...
He's kinda just like a lost puppy: clinging to the only master he’s ever known, even if that said master has been nothing but abusive. Often, people with deep-seated trauma perceive enduring toxicity and pain as preferable to facing complete abandonment; which in this case leaves him trapped in the midst of the only steady but unhealthy relationship he's had for the longest— the one with his hyung.

Aww man. Your an adult dude. U can totally take your boss. Stop letting him control you! geez, sigh.
