why does the MC have to end up with Garon?? Like seriously, why do writers keep pushing this idea even when the ML doesn’t deserve a crumb of happiness or sympathy—from the MC OR from us?? and the worst part is they KNOW it’s messed up! they know this dude deserves to rot in hell, so they start forcing the MC to magically “realize” he loves him no matter how toxic and unhealthy their relationship is :) be for real—he literally assaulted him multiple times, killed his mom, and wiped out the entire IMAE line!! why are we acting like it’s normal to forgive stuff like that just because the ML suddenly shows the tiniest bit of affection??
and then they expect us to buy this whole “but he loves the MC sooo much” nonsense, like that somehow makes him a deep, tragic, sexy character we should root for NO! he’s just a horrible person with a sad aesthetic filter over him
and because the 2nd ML (Raon in this case) is actually a good dude who genuinely deserves the MC, the writer suddenly decides to make him evil, unhinged, or annoying out of nowhere so fans can “understand” why he doesn’t get the MC then they use that as the excuse to kill him off or just throw him away like trash like… we see the manipulation
if you have to turn every other character into a villain just to make the ML seem tolerable—when he’s already the worst of the bunch—then yeah, you’re definitely on the wrong side of storytelling you wouldn’t need to sabotage the 2nd ML if your precious ML wasn’t rotten from the inside out
