Okay, wow! I thought about just editing my previous comment but the last few chapters (ch22 onwards) have been actually really good, and I think that deserves its own comment. I'm impressed!!

The sister has an actual personality, now, instead of being just mindless evil blabber for the sake of the story having a villain. The action scenes have bee pretty nice, although ofc it's no shonen; there are pretty stiff moments and some angles for the panels are uninspired, but the tension is built up pretty nicely which is where most manga of this genre fail. The facial expressions are getting better, and it's making everyone look more handsome too lol

I'm also pretty impressed at how the conflict escalated and "ended" the way it did... I'm sure they'll find a way to save Anette, but it was a nice way to extend this conflict in a legitimate way, instead of ending it with the power of friendship and then starting over with a new villain next volume.

Also Leon is growing into a more interesting character, too, it seems? And their relationship (Leon and Finne that is) also seems to be edging closer to *some* actual semblance of love between them. Nice!!

But ofc, that's not all to say it's been a perfect ride so far. They definetely rushed Corinna's character development, trading actual substance for a quick, cheap shot at that "feel good" banter between them... after all that shit we saw from her we definetely needed some more time before getting to this point lmao (though I don't think she's as irredeemable as some people say she is in this comment section)

Overall I'm just pleasantly surprised though. This started as standard rofan slop but we've been getting actually decent plot progression this past volume or two.
