The egg must've needed both parent's presence seeing that even with the dragon Father, it still didn't hatch but if both are there, it could be a possibility that the egg might hatch and it has deep connection to the soul of its parents cuz the mother, even with a reborn body, reacted to the presence of the egg. That's just my minor theory
Good to see that the present MC is not a pushover. The story about their past isn't over yet tho. What happened?? Did the MC die? How did he die? Why did that egg never got hatched? What happened to that gumiho that swore vengeance on them and how much did the ML contribute to the past MC's death to make him change to this point?? Som many questions........
