She didn't know he had a date, I think if she knew she wouldn't have called. I also don't see why not shot your shot, its not like she is not helping him aswell. Yea its a excuse So that she can be closer to him but I do think she wants to help him
so am i the only one that’s bothered by esther??? yes we see he has the inability to say no in general, from him taking up others work and not being able to tell esther no he had plans, like girl uk what u were doing bothering him kinda forcing him to come w the whole “can i use my maxie card or rewards wtv on the weekend” in a way like rlly kinda begging in my eyes personally,, bc we can all tell she was alr feeling him without even it being said verbatim duh thts literally the only reason she called him to come over, they both brought up the whole “having a man brought over” knowing it’s lowk weird/wrong bc uk he has a girl he likes and u wanna play this supportive friend like ur not basically kinda shooting ur shot.. don’t get me wrong she’s a sweet girl and i hope she gets her happy ending she deserves whether its with him or not i just found that so weird bc i def feel like she’s gonna continue doing that and frame it as her being friendly when like they said in this recent chapter that co workers/joy are thinking they’re an item when max is taking everything esther says as she’s my friend and we see her take what he says in a more romantic way by the lil sparkle graphics that show up on her face when she reacts, all in all i luv both girls i was just confused on the comments bc nobody seemed bothered by her actions so i rlly needed to let it out bc i for one WAS confused and bothered but also hope max learns actual boundaries and says no bc tht ALSO bothers me ╥﹏╥
