I think some of you forget she's just human. It's easy for you to say you wouldn't do something like this and I think thats fair, but you haven't probably been in her position to really understand what she's going through. In reality, things just aren't that simple. And I think the author does a good job of portraying the emotional and mental turmoil she's going through. Its isn't easy for her to sleep with him. She's coping with a lot and it seems like she doesn't have self-respect, but we know for sure she never really got over him. And I'm not letting him off the hook, but human emotions and interactions are a lot more complex than just "don't sleep with him". If it was that simple, i doubt we would have half the drama we have in our every day life. All in all, of course she shouldn't sleep with him, he hurt her real bad, but it's also not so suprising things end up this way.
