I think it was the prev duchess ml mom if I'm not mistaken the emperor love her but she marry the duke and had a son so the emperor send the duke to tha battlefield and force her to stay in the emperor castle like a hostage or sumthing then she died there that's also one of the reason the ml can't really do anything because the emperor had the duchess remains if I'm not mistaken? Then the mine as well which also belong to the late duchess... That family is shit I tell you the emperor and the crow prince both fumbled so bad the duke of the north ended up with the girl they wanted oh ml's dad is also alive he's just I'm coma or sumthing but FL will help him and she will finally have some fatherly love I really love the ml in this novel he is a whole forest
It was the princess, his daughter no? MC said something the princess has previously said to the king when she was stealing credit from the mc and that triggered him into calling a meeting about the mine since it is now clicking his daughter is useless. It was long blonde hair and a white dress the princess usually wears so it looks like her but I could be wrong :p
I'm super curious of the woman who showed up behind fl in this chapter. Like who is this woman and what's her history with the king? Why was he so mad after hearing those same words that was stated by that woman?
