One of the classics I read back in the day. Tbh the end felt rushed, we saw nothing of Yuri's actual recovery and redemption and the author glossed over Jaerim's sexual assault like it was nothing, felt like we needed more chapters for the actual healing and closure. We didn't get a proper resolution for anybody really other than maybe Dohoon and Yumin, and even they felt rushed since Yumin just kinda forgave him like it was nothing. I don't actually mind Kang and Dunno not being resolved, their relationship is messy and toxic and it seems their happy ending was never meant to be, although I wish we got some form of closure at least?? They caused a huge commotion but we never got to see the result of it, it was always bothering me how the whole thing just got resolved like it was magic then forgotten. Also I'mma be honest, I don't like the Heeno x Aerak pairing, they felt the most unfinished and badly written out of the 4. Their whole relationship was built on superficiality, but instead of Aerak confronting Heeno about how he treated him when he was fat vs when he was fit and see if Heeno truly had changed, he just kinda accepted Heeno after a little insistence because he was such a heavy simp?? He was so insecure that Heeno would abandon him again but it literally just poofed with an "but I love him so much" and the problem never actually got resolved?? Like the dream I suppose was the author's way to say "Heeno has in fact changed and will still like Aerak even when he's fat again" yea sure but they NEVER truly communicated and Heeno never apologized for calling him an animal because Aerak for SOME REASON didn't tell him anything. Isn't the fact Heeno doesn't even remember Aerak the most obvious sign he's still just as superficial and wouldn't love him if he wasn't skinny? Idk why they showed Aerak's conflict with his appearance as resolved when, really, NOTHING changed.
