I love Jaekyung and dan, I unlocked the whole manhwa in the official site, and I met mingwa in paris who signed my BJ alex physical book. That said:
1) Reread their first night again. Jaekyung knew Dan was inexperienced, likely a virgin. He pushed dan to falsely admit he was experienced in order for him to get the greenlight to go hardcore on him. Look at Jaekyung's grin again, he wanted the shy and avoiant dan to say yes despite all his body language telling it's a blatant lie. Why else would he say "almost like a real whore" "only one to see this sight"
2) Jaekyung knew and admitted that Dan had a lot of complaints to his sexual ways, he said that Dan used to flinch every time he laid his hands on him too. Dan broke the rhythm so many times wanting to catch a break and says "no" every time they have sex. Dan said that he used to bleed all the time, and we even saw Mingwa draw blood during their first time. Jaekyung still didn't go easy on him despite seeing Dan bleed and showing signs of pain and reluctance. Jaekyung had the permission to have sex, but he went ahead and went too rough on a fragile guy. In no world you can confuse that with pleasure, especially not when the guy's crying too. The pink sleeve scene was horrific, I don't need to explain why. That part was rape if I ever saw one. Yes the guy trembling in terror crawling away saying no definitely wanted his ass expanded 4 inches wide.
Also one of the panels Mingwa chose to show when Jaekyung was regretting his actions was him having sex with Dan on the counter because of his own pre match stress and rapid weight loss. If he thought he was in his right to treat another person like this, he wouldn't have thought of that to regret over.
3) Agreed. He might say it was for his jinx which at first it was, but it soon turned into genuine care for Dan as a person. Jaekyung contradicts himself first saying it was for his grandma then solely for his jinx. Mingwa ever so subtlely hinted at Jaekyung being satisfied with seeing Dan grateful and happy for paying for the treatment and loan (he expected more gratitude for having his loans and interest paid, same silly guy who blurted that Dan should shove his gratitude up his ass)
4) Not applicable to someone who has always been the one prior to ask (or demand) sex. Let's not forget he literally wanted a contract signed for sex. Jaekyung was the one who initiated it that drunken night too. It would have been a different scenario otherwise. Dan did not rape Jaekyung. Just like I don't believe Jaekyung raped Dan the night he was under the influence of aphrodisiac. But as per your logic, Jaekyung did rape Dan too.
5) He had too many people that loved him for him to act like that. His old coach who basically took the role of his dad, and team black. If we use the same excuse, Dan only had his grandma. Literally everyone else was either taking advantage of him, some abused or tried to rape him. Jaekyung had more people who appreciated him than Dan but Dan would never have thrown a gift saying it's trash. It doesn't come down to the background, it's the actions they chose to do. Dan has been poor and working all his 29 years of life unlike Jaekyung. Dan is proof that the background is not an excuse for their behavior.
6) I can't believe you just excused chapter 45. I fear you haven't understood a thing in this manhwa. Is it such an inconceivable thing to think that anything more humane would be a normal approach? Is really mocking the efforts and the gift itself, throwing it on the table and again hard again the wall past the gifter, yelling on the way out the most logical reaction? Maybe if you grew up your ENTIRE life with abusive guardians who treats you THIS bad. Even then, at the big age of 27 you must know when you're at least treating someone wrong. Especially someone who hasn't done the same thing to you. This is something Jaekyung will heavily regret over because he knows he was in the wrong.
7) Jaekyung lashed out because he needed someone to blame. He wasn't in his right mind: stressed and in pain from his foot and shoulder, so that's understandable for him to be a big dumbass and jump to conclusions despite Dan never hinting at betraying him. But even with a clearer mind and having heard from yoongu that they double checked, he still acted bratty and unapologetic. Again, background doesn't excuse this behavior, Dan is being used again. He wouldn't have gotten any apologies if he stayed and still worked under him. He needed a wake up call that Dan does not belong to him to start feeling sorry. Reminder that Jaekyung thought "who said he could quit"
8) Yeah, he's accepted he caught feelings and now resists his sexual desires for Dan's sake. We all know the next time they're sleeping together (possibly before the match but there's a chance they don't) Jaekyung is gonna do everything Dan likes. Going slow for one, when Jaekyung is known for rough sex.
Both suffered in their past yet Dan hasn't physically, sexually or verbally abused Jaekyung.
Also maybe pay more attention to Dan's deeds. None of us in this comment section would have this much patience and respect towards someone who treated him as such. Reread how he spoke to his loan sharks as well. Mingwa makes an effort to make Dan's language gentle and respectful. Read the first part of s2 where Dan's in it. He's way more of an angel that you give him credit for (which imo he's literally an angel, sometimes too kind for his own good)

So I took the time and reread the whole jinx again, now, that I have all the backround and there are a few reasons why I think Jaekyung is not that bad person and why he deserves a second chance:
1. Dan lied to him when Jaekyung asked him if he had many guys. He said yes, Jaekyung understood that as Dan being promiscuous and acted like this toward him. I know that not even prostitute should be treated Jaekyung treated Dan but he was used to those people being treated this way and sometimes even liking it.
2. Dan asked for more money and promised to Joo to be sexually available anytime anywhere and that is exactly what Jaekyung did. Yes, Dan did not really had no other choice in his situation but he never told Jaekyung about his situation. Which is also the next point...
3. When Joo found out about at least some situation about Dan's life, he immediately helped him. With hospital bill, with the bad guys. His career could end, if someone found out about what he did to those guys. He also paid the debt.
4. Dan raped Jeakyung too. When Joo was too drunk to give him any consent, Dan took the opportunity to have sex him. Joo didn't even remembered it.
5. He was not loved by his parents. He was severaly traumatised. Abused by his father, neglected by his mother. Never had someone who truly loved him. Even his previous sexual partners wanted him only for his fame or money. So he never knew how to react to Dan's confessions.
6. Jaekyung's love language is act of service and Dan's is more like words of affirmation. Joo is not good at this and got pissed off every time Dan wanted some reassurance about their relationship. The biggest mistake of him was confessing and expecting something in return on his birthday. Joo had a really bad hungover, had bad mood because of the non consented sex Dan had with him last night and was pissed off because coach sent him all the gifts he didn't want. It was the bad time for Dan to confess.
7. Dan should have talked to him about the guy offering him money to work for the other gym. Joo actually had every right to not trust Dan after the leg accident. He didn't really knew or understood what Dan felt for him and how devoted he is to him. He didn't even had the emotional inteligence to understand it because of his childhood.
8. He is improving. Jaekyung was observing Dan's reactions to him and some situations and working on himself to make Dan feel better. He does not want him for sex anymore, he truly want for him to be happy and healthy.
Dan is not that big of saint and Joo such monster like a lot of you say here. Jaekyung already suffered a lot and was basically suffering his whole life so wishing him to suffer even more is BS. Dan had his grandma who loved him a lot. JJ had nobody his entire life. They both deserve to be happy, so let's them to be happy together.
