she’s gaslighting herself to cope with the fact she can never escape him. it’s better that than the crap she endured all those years before. you’d say death would be the best option but she already tried that & obviously he’s way too obsessed & fixated with her to allow that to happen. out of all things to be obsessed with you it just had to be a literal god-like being… that is scary cause he can literally just rewrite things how he sees fit as to what we have seen. this really does live up to being a psychological horror story. i would go insane if i were in her shoes as well. i pray that never finds me.
